An Aerial View of Nature Near Sun Valley
If you’ve read my earlier articles you know how I love to promote the best aspects of living in Sun Valley. I’ve tried to take it further with the latest video on my Jose Carlos Mier YouTube channel.
In my earlier videos I gave you turn-by-turn visual guides of how close the Verdugo Mountain hiking are to us in Sun Valley. This time I wanted to demonstrate to you how close they actually are with the aid of a Google Map to point out all the nearby trails and natural areas that are within only a few minutes of our beautiful Sun Valley.
Trailheads and scenic areas in the Verdugo Foothills include:
Stough Canyon
Brand Library Trailhead
Whiting Woods Hiking Trail
Leviathans Teeth Trail
Beaudry Loop Trial
La Tuna Canyon Trail
Mt. Latuna
Wildwood Canyon
In this list there are eight areas nearby with trails and esach one of them is only a few minutes’ drive from the center of Sun Valley. The ones closer to Montrose may take more time but for most you’ll be there in no more than 15 minutes. I am still lobbying for the Jose Mier trail! On that I’ll keep you posted
